A set of 3" gaskets... High Grade Silicone and Graphite High Temperature gaskets. Gaskets are used together to provide the best seal during vacuum casting to seal perforated flask ring and casting chamber. The Silicon acts as a sealing layer while the graphite placed on top of the silicone, protecting and prolonging the silicone seal from the high flask temperature. The combination of the 2 types of gaskets provide a very good seal, allowing the vacuum to fully pull the molten metal into the flask. These gaskets are die cut, have a thickness of 1/8" for the Silicone and 1/16" for the Graphite. Gaskets come in various diameters to work with individual flask OD sizes, visit our store.
